Yes. Cadenzer is a web app designed for small screens first, so you can check your diary, move a lesson or mark one paid from your phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install.

Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel spreadsheet and Cadenzer guesses which column is which. You check the matches and adjust anything it got wrong. Any rows with a problem come back in a file you can correct and upload again, so nothing is silently dropped. You can also export your students to a spreadsheet at any time.

No. A student only needs one if you want them to book, reschedule or cancel their own lessons. If you'd rather keep control yourself, just don't send the invite. Paying through a Pay now link does not need an account either.

Recurring bookings are treated as a single series, so changing the day or time once moves every future lesson in that series. Cadenzer checks for clashes before the move is confirmed. See the full guide to rescheduling recurring lessons.

If you invite a student to log in, they can book, reschedule or cancel their own lessons without double-booking your diary. Prefer to keep control yourself? Just don't send the invite. See the full guide to student self-booking.

Yes. Group lessons have their own rate and are allowed to overlap with other group lessons at the same time. See the full guide to scheduling and billing group lessons.

Yes. Each student has a default, and any single lesson can be switched to online or in person without changing the rest.

Yes. Blues, rock and classical guitar can be three separate strands for the same student, and each lesson records which one it covered.

Yes. Add a note to any lesson, and it shows in that student's lesson list so you can see what you covered before the next one. Notes are optional, so you only use them if you want to.

Cadenzer shows you which students are behind, with the amount owed, in one clear Late payers list. You choose who to send a reminder to, and you write the message in your own words. See the full guide to tracking and chasing late payments.

No. Cadenzer doesn't send payment reminders on its own. You decide who gets one and what it says, so a reminder never goes out for a lesson that was already paid in cash.

Yes, if you set up online payments. Tick "Include Pay now link" on a reminder and your student gets a secure link. They pay by card through Stripe, the money goes into your own Stripe account, and the lesson is marked paid. They do not need a Cadenzer account.

Yes. If a student pays online, Stripe's card processing fee is deducted from the payment before it reaches you. This is standard for any business that accepts online card payments. Cadenzer doesn't add anything on top for the student to pay, so if you want online payments to fully cover their own cost, price your lessons with that in mind.

Mark the lesson as paid in a tap. It then counts as settled and drops off your late payers list.

No. You can start your 30-day free trial without entering a card.

If you've subscribed, you carry on as normal. If you haven't, you get a further 7 days to decide, with a reminder at the top of the page, and after that you'll be asked to subscribe to get back in.

Any time, from the Subscription page, which takes you to Stripe's billing portal. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Cadenzer is operated by iCode Solutions Ltd, based in the United Kingdom. Your data is used only to run Cadenzer for you and your students, and it is not sold or shared for marketing. Stripe handles card payments, so Cadenzer never stores card details. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

You can export your student list to a spreadsheet yourself at any time. For a full copy of your data, or to have your account deleted, email [email protected].
